My journey to real estate was not a straight path (not many paths are). I started life after college in scientific research, crunching big numbers and then stepped into the role of teacher, helping students make sense of complex things. During college and the early years of work I also moved … a lot, and got the chance to live in some stunning places, like Ireland, Scotland, the south of England and Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Finally, in 2009, I settled in the ‘brave little state’ of Vermont. Along the way I navigated immigration systems, organized complex moves, inherited and managed rental properties, and bought and sold homes myself. I know firsthand how overwhelming and often complex these life changing processes can be, and that’s exactly why I do what I do.
